Spring Family Visits

Grandpa came to town to visit. Ilana was clearly thrilled!

And the weather was perfect for an outdoor play date with the cousins.
 What a great time!

Ryder's Fourth Birthday

Ryder had a gymnastics party and Hank had such a blast running and jumping on the trampolines, it was hard to even snap a picture until he was under the parachute.
It is quite clear that Hank had a great time (we did, too)!
 Happy 4th Birthday, Ryder!

Spring Glee

Spring is here, so Hank joined his cousins in Superior for a day of fun, warm, outdoor play.
Hank's favorite activity of the day . . . gliding at full speed down the hills at the park.
Ryder soaked up the sun on the bleachers,
and Sierra screamed with delight on her scooter.
Hank got to end his day with bathtime fun with Ryder.
Looks like all the kids will sleep well tonight.

All Over Town

Today we traveled all over town to spend time with family.
First, we traveled down the hill to Boulder to visit Aunt Rachel, Sierra and Ryder.
After a good meal, the cousins burned off some energy.

Check them out in action (click on the video link below) . . .

From there, we drove to Denver to visit Grandma Marcy.  How did Hank feel about his day?
This video says it all (click on link below) . . .

Hanukkah Happiness with the Matz Family

Each year, we go to Aunt Rachel, Sierra and Ryder's house for a Hanukkah party.
Highlights included making, baking, decorating and devouring Hanukkah cookies . . .
giving and receiving presents,
 playing with new toys,
and engaging in an exciting (and yummy) game of dreidel.
Thank you Matz Family for all the holiday fun!

Pumpkin Party Time

It's a family tradition!  Here are the cousins, ready for the festivities.
Sierra mentored Hank as he decorated his first pumpkin.
Here's his finished product - a pumpkin monster!
Here are all the cousins' pumpkins (from left to right:  Sierra, Ryder, Hank)
Then it was time for the adults to show off their carving skills
(left to right:  Mommy's witch, Aunt Rachel's cat and Daddy's skeleton)
What a great early start to Halloween!
