Halloween 2014

Ninja Henry got an early jump on the day, trick or treating started at 3PM near our local stores.
By the time we were done, his bucket was pretty heavy.
As we waited for evening to come for the second round of trick or treating, Groucho and Super Baby Alana smiled for pics.
 Happy Halloween!

Cousins' Annual Halloween Get Together

Happy Halloween! Let's get this Cousins' party started on a healthy note . . .

After some snacking, all the kids gathered round Grandpa Eli for some costume picture fun.
Superbaby Alana wasn't quite sure what to think about all the commotion, but she held her own.
Big brother, Henry (Hank is going by his full name now),
carved his pumpkin all by himself this year.
After carving, the kids worked up an appetite. Time to decorate cookies!
After dessert, it was back outside for some last minute family pictures with Grandpa.
Ladies first . . .
And then all of the grandchildren.
Even Mommy got a pic with Alana.
 Love our family howliday tradition.

Carving up Halloween Happiness Cousin Style

Today we had over Aunt Rachel, Sierra and Ryder
for our annual Halloween carving party.
The kids started off the festivities with some spooky appetizers.
Once it was time to break out the pumpkins,
Hank and Ryder created their masterpieces (Hank left, Ryder right).
Then it was time to get "gunky."
Here are the final carvings (Ryder and Rachel smile, Sierra cat, Ari spiderweb, Amanda Big Bird).
Once the pumpkins were complete, it was time to bake cookies.
Hank really loved sharing his love of superheroes with his cousin, Ryder.
When it was finally time to say goodbye and get ready for bed, Hank got to check out our pumpkins shining brightly on the front porch.
Thank you Matz family for a coming our way.
This Halloween is definitely off to a heroic start!

Happy Halloween!

This Halloween, Hank showed off his monkey cosutme.
His friend, Carolyn, invited him over for dinner and trick-or-treating.
Before the festivities started, Carolyn read Hank a story. . . ,
and after the trick-or-treating was done, it was time to enjoy the fruits of their labor.
Here's to a job well done.
Happy Halloween!

Pumpkin Party Time

It's a family tradition!  Here are the cousins, ready for the festivities.
Sierra mentored Hank as he decorated his first pumpkin.
Here's his finished product - a pumpkin monster!
Here are all the cousins' pumpkins (from left to right:  Sierra, Ryder, Hank)
Then it was time for the adults to show off their carving skills
(left to right:  Mommy's witch, Aunt Rachel's cat and Daddy's skeleton)
What a great early start to Halloween!

This was Hank's first time participating in the Halloween festivities and you can tell that he definitely had fun!
After the cousins finished their pumpkin creations, it was time for lunch and dessert.
Ryder and Sierra helped prepare the cookies.  YUM!
During nap time, the adults got busy carving.
Here are the final results (left to right: Amanda, Rachel, Ari)
 Ah, Halloween Happiness!
