Table Talk

Hank and his Lafayette friend, Jennie, have gathered around the same coffee table for two years now. Today they had a very deep discussion regarding cutting pretend food and the physics of golf.
Last year, they held a book club meeting at the table, and . . .
two years ago the table talk was all about how to figure out that mystery called "walking."
Wonder what the next great table meeting will entail?

Fun Friday with Jennie

Today we traveled to Lafayette to visit our friends, the Rabes.  Hank and Jennie were silly and full of smiles. Can't ask for much more than that!

A Day Full of Friends

Hank had the busiest, most fun day full of friendship!
It all started at Jennie's house in Lafayette where Hank and Jennie dug into birthday cupcakes in honor of Mommy and Nana Pat's birthdays.
Then we drove about 50 feet down the street (literally)
over to Max and Bella's house for lunch and more play.
Once we got home and rested for a bit, we had a surprise visit from Hank's buddy, JJ.
The boys played until bedtime.
We know Hank will sleep well tonight!

Good Friends, Good Times

Our friends from Lafayette, The Rabes and "Nana" Pat,
came to visit us at our new home in Evergreen.
Jennie was excited to come to the mountains and Hank was excited she came, too.
Thanks for coming out to play!

Birthday Play Date with Jennie

Today Hank had another birthday celebration!
Hank's friend, Jennie, invited us over to her Nana Pat's house for a play date.  Jennie's mommy, Lisa, baked up special cupcakes for us all to enjoy for snack.
Mmmmmm - cake!
After snack, Hank got several gifts.
Here he is reading his new "Poke-a-Dot!" Old MacDonald's Farm book where he gets to push in dots that make popping sounds as you count the animals on each page.
Hank definitely agrees that no child should go without one of these
(shh - it may even be better than a new toy truck)!
Of course, Jennie preferred to stick with her favorite, Curious George.
Out of all the toys Nana Pat had for Hank to play with, he enjoyed Nana Pat's exercise balls the most.
Why does this not surprise us?!
Thank you, friends, for making Hank's 2nd birthday so special!!

Berry Patch Farms

Today we went to a local farm with our friends, the Rabes.
Jennie and Hank were ready to meet the animals!
The resident goat eagerly greeted Jennie.
Hank got to touch the farm's very well fed pig.
We met a turkey . . .
and a rooster with feathers on its legs!
We even took a family picture surrounded by Mommy's favorite-sunflowers!
Before our visit to the farm ended, Hank enjoyed walking through the fields.
Maybe next year, when Hank and Jennie are bigger, we'll actually pick berries!
