Joining JJ for his 3rd Birthday

 Today we headed to the Children's Museum to celebrate Hank's buddy, JJ's, 3rd birthday.  

The boys really got into playing with all the balls.

Hank also enjoyed being a firefighter as he practiced sliding down the pole.

 After working up an appetite, everyone enjoyed some lunch and cupcakes.

 What a great way to spend a good friend's birthday.  Happy birthday, JJ!

Dress Up and Paint the Day Away . . .

Hank and his good friend, JJ, raided the Halloween/dress up clothes today,

 and painted a couple of masterpieces.  Busy, happy boys!

A Day Full of Friends

Hank had the busiest, most fun day full of friendship! 

 It all started at Jennie's house in Lafayette where Hank and Jennie dug into birthday cupcakes in honor of Mommy and Nana Pat's birthdays. 

Then we drove about 50 feet down the street (literally) 

over to Max and Bella's house for lunch and more play. 

 Once we got home and rested for a bit, we had a surprise visit from Hank's buddy, JJ. 

The boys played until bedtime. 

 We know Hank will sleep well tonight!

Off to Hawaii . . . Permanently!

Our Evergreen friends, Sara, John and JJ are moving to Hawaii!  

Today we drove to Evergreen for a farewell play date.  

Distance can never separate such dear friends.
Time to get ready for those cross country phone calls!!

Hank and JJ - Birthday Pals

We traveled to Evergreen today for a birthday play date for both Hank and his buddy, JJ, who just turned 2.    

The boys ran around, played with cars and hid in the cabinets together.

 After so much playing, it was time for a lunch break. 

 For dessert,we brought mini birthday cakes. 

 Hank promptly ate a piece, while JJ decorated his with his favorite toys.
