Ilana's One Year Checkup

Our baby girl is a healthy, happy one year old! 

She is 30 inches long (75th%) and 20 lbs (25th%). 

She loves cheese and any food with pasta, but so far, does not care for cow's milk. 

She still nurses on demand, takes 2 naps a day and sleeps from 6PM-6AMish.  

Ilana loves all electronics, especially remote controls - and she can spot a fake "pretend" one from a mile away. She is already trying to stand on her own, too! She just loves her big brother and can't wait to play with him each day. Henry loves her, too!

Our Favorite Five Year Old Boy

Henry had his five year old checkup today. He weighs 34 pounds (10th percentile) and is 40.5" tall (10th percentile). Small, but mighty . . . just like his Star Wars hero, Yoda!

Alana's Two Months Old

This happy baby is healthy and growing each day! 

Alana is 24 inches long and weighs 11 lb 3.5 oz. 

She definitely has some distinctive characteristics, even at this early age. 

First of all, she is the loudest and most frequent burper ever!

She is very oral and although she cannot yet hold anything in her mouth (including her thumb), she quietly self soothes by munching on her lamb (shown in picture) or chewing on her sleeves.

She can roll onto her side and swat at toys, as well.

Most importantly, she smiles at her big brother all the time!

18 Months Old

It's update time again!

Here's what's going on with Hank:

Hank is officially a walker. It happened mid July and now there's no turning back! Hank babbles constantly and is big into communicating with sign language. He loves reading, Sesame Street, balls, being outside, and playing on all the playground equipment.

Hank transitioned down to one 2-2.5 hour nap about a month ago. He still sleeps around 12 hours at night, which helps all of us get our rest.

As for food likes/dislikes, he still is not a big milk fan unless it is disguised in shakes, oatmeal, cereal, etc. Protein is not his favorite, either, although his likes his chicken/apple sausage and a bit of bacon. He also LOVES the sweet corn soup at Chili's Restaurant.

As for his stats, he weighs in at 22 lb. 7oz (10th%), is 32.5 inches long (75th%) and has a head circumference of 18 7/8 inches (above the 50th%).

He is healthy and happy!!
