Turning One in the Sun

We headed to FL for a family vacation and celebrated Ilana's 1st Birthday, as well!
While Ilana took her morning naps, Henry, Daddy and Grandpa hit the beach.

 Then came Ilana's first birthday.

Lots of family memories in the making!

Our First Trip to Florida as a Family of Four

We're off to Florida to visit Grandpa, Cindy and Teddy!
First day was all about the beach and tummy time with Grandpa.

Although it was a bit too cold to swim, we spent a lot of time in the backyard playing by the pool. Ilana chose to soak in the sun in her bumbo.
 Henry loved racing his cars.

In fact, Henry did some real racing and big kid fun at Zoomers.

Back at the house, there was a lot of sibling bonding this trip, too.
Ilana also got tons of love from Grandpa and Cindy.
Before bedtime, everyone got snuggle time.

Since it is almost Hannukah, Grandpa helped Henry make menorahs for him and Ilana.

And here's the best family photo we got.
 Ah, family, sun and memories!

A Morning at the Beach

Minutes from Red Rocks, where Mommy and Daddy got married, is Bear Creek Lake Park. It's our local "beach." Today we got there early with Hank's buddy, Adrian, who loved the sand.
Hank, on the other hand, preferred the water.
The beach always seems to have something for everyone.
Gotta enjoy summer while it lasts!

Beach Time!

Hank's first day in FL was all about the beach, and boy, did he have fun!
Mommy and Hank ran with the waves and chased birds up and down the beach.
Then Hank and Ari had some special Daddy/son time.
What a way to make waves on our first day of vacation!

Back to the Beach

We were so excited to find a beach not far from Evergreen . . .
the Bear Creek Lake Park in Morrison, CO.
Hank and his buddy, Eli, took full advantage of the water, rocks, sand and sun.
Hank and Eli even shared toys on the way home.  Wow!  Now that's a successful morning!
