Dinner Hugs

Grandpa (PooPa) and Cindy came to wish Hank well before the big move next week.
We love you PooPa and Cindy!

Farewell For Now

Jennie invited Hank over for one last play date before we move.
Outside time was first and foremost!
Once inside, Lisa spent some time demonstrating the wonders of Playdoh to Hank.
Thank you, Jennie, Lisa, Dan and Nana Pat for your friendship
that we know will last far beyond Lafayette!

Farewell Dinner with Friends

Our neighbors, the Albenbergs, invited us over for a farewell dinner.
After dinner and some quality play time for Hank, Jack, and MJ,
they surprised us with a farewell cake for dessert.
Each child got a candle and Hank loved blowing his candle out almost as much as he loved eating the cake!
Thanks for welcoming us to Lafayette and we look forward to welcoming you to our new home in Evergreen!

Trip to NCAR

Hank and his friend, Rose, visited NCAR (National Center for Atmospheric Research) today in Boulder.

Once inside, they discovered the power of static electricity,
the movement of the earth's atmosphere,
 microbursts,
 and gravity.
 Busy scientists at play!

Treadmill Time

Radar's doing well after his knee sugery.
Today, at his physical therapy session, Radar got to experience an underwater treadmill.

Mother's Day at the Children's Museum

What do you do on Mother's Day when the weather is less than ideal?
Head to the Children's Museum!
It was our very first time here, so seeing and playing on a big fire truck right when we walked in made for an awesome start to our morning.
There was so much to explore, such as bubbles, from little bubbles that Hank could pop with his fingers . . .
to big bubbles he could pop with his entire body.
In the building area, Daddy taught Hank how to use a saw, and after a few practice rounds,
Hank was sawing on his own (we see a future filled with lots of great Daddy/Hank workshop days)!
Right before we left, Hank even painted Mommy a special Mother's Day picture.
A wonderful Mother's Day, indeed!

Radar's Surgery

Last week, Radar tore his ACL.  Today we brought him home from the vet after a successful surgery.  We are all thrilled to have him back.  Time for lots of Radar love and support over the next several months as he recovers.  As Hank says, "Careful . . . gentle touch!"
We love you, Radar!
